YES and we can facilitate the required supervised cases and offer full guidance and support to ensure you start providing safe and compliant inhalation sedation on completion!

This course is for: dentists, therapists or hygienists new to Inhalation Sedation requiring a fully accredited inhalation sedation course. It is now mandatory for all practitioners new to conscious sedation to undertake a STAC accredited course followed by a period of supervised cases to gain certification. This course is fully STAC accredited and covers all your requirements to lead to independent practice for new sedation practitioners in Inhalation sedation. You can also achieve all of your supervised cases at our Sedation Mentor Centres with all patients provided where needed...(additional fees apply). The theory aspects are completed entirely online

4 Steps to independent practice

  • STEP 1 THEORY - Enrol and complete the accredited online didactic learning, online tasks, MCQs and practice assessment (12 hours verifiable CPD), you will receive your sedation pack in the post including your logbook and textbook but you don't need this to complete the theory

  • STEP 2 LOG SUPERVISED CASES - Complete and document 10 supervised inhalation sedation cases either at our specialist sedation centres (£2250 practitioners/£950 nurses) or in your practice; These will be supervised by an STAC accredited mentor at our sedation centre, by one of our mentors at your practice or by one of your choosing.

  • STEP 3 REFLECTION - Complete case study, evaluation and feedback

  • STEP 4 - Final Review AND Certification to enable Independent practice - NOTE this isn't where we leave you, we are always available to assist in any way you need us
